Before You Write: Understanding What’s Really Happening
The thoughts you’re about to journal aren’t random. They’re part of a cycle.
A cycle that either keeps you stuck or sets you free.
The B.E.L.I.E.F. Framework shows you exactly how your beliefs create the results you’re experiencing—and more importantly, where to interrupt the pattern.
Click below to see the framework. It might just explain everything you’ve been feeling.
The B.E.L.I.E.F. Framework illustrates how our beliefs create a self-reinforcing cycle that shapes our identity, decisions and outcomes. What we believe (B) is influenced by our experiences (E), which condition our language (L), the words we speak over ourselves and our situation. This, in turn, affects our interpretation (I) of life events, shaping our emotions (E) and influencing our fruit (F), the visible results we see in our lives. These outcomes then reinforce the original belief, strengthening either a cycle of faith and growth or a cycle of fear and limitation.
Transformation happens when this cycle is interrupted through renewed belief, which resets the pattern and begins a new cycle with new fruit.
This diagram illustrates the behavioural expression of the BELIEF Framework.
Then the result reinforces the limiting belief and the cycle starts all over again with a renewed mind and therefore renewed belief
The full BELIEF cycle includes Experience, Language, Interpretation and Fruit, which shape the thought–emotion–behaviour pattern shown here.
Solidifying Your New Belief
Transformation requires integration.
You've dismantled the old belief and built a new one—but lasting change happens when you practice living from that new truth daily. This 7-day plan helps you anchor your transformation.
Complete one day at a time. Check off each day as you go.
Speak your new belief out loud 3 times today—morning, midday, and evening. Say it with conviction, even if you don't fully feel it yet.
Find 3 Bible verses that affirm your new belief. Write them down, memorize one, and meditate on them throughout the day.
Do ONE thing today that the old belief would have stopped you from doing. It doesn't have to be huge—just something that proves the new belief is true.
Tell someone you trust about your transformation. Share the old belief you let go of and the new truth you're walking in. Vulnerability cements change.
Pay attention if the old belief tries to resurface today. When it does, stop, name it, and replace it immediately with your new truth.
Take inventory of the shifts you've experienced this week—internal and external. Celebrate even the small wins. Transformation is happening.
Write a commitment to yourself about how you'll continue living in this new belief. What daily practices will you keep? How will you stay accountable?
