Lesson 4: The Five Stones to Slay Perfectionism - Giant Slayer
LESSON 4 OF 5
The Five Stones to Slay Perfectionism
Equipping Yourself for Victory
GIANT SLAYERS
"Like David chose five smooth stones, you're selecting the tools you need for victory. You're not going into this battle empty-handed."
Your Progress:
0%
Welcome to Lesson 4. David didn't defeat Goliath empty-handed—he used five stones. These questions will help you choose the stone you need to pick up first.
Choose Your Five Stones
Stone 1: Surrender
Which battle have you been trying to fight in your own strength?
Stone 2: Identity
Who does God say you are? Find scripture that speaks to your identity and write it below.
Stone 3: Obedience
Where is God asking you to move, even if it feels unfinished? Write the day, date, and time you will take this stone.
Stone 4: Truth
Which lie has been the loudest in your ear? What scripture will you use to combat it?
Stone 5: Community & Accountability
Who do you need to reach out to for prayer, encouragement, or accountability? When will you call them? What do you need to say to them?
Reflection Questions
Now that you've chosen your stones, reflect on these deeper questions.
16. What is one area in your life where you know you need to surrender more fully to God's timing?
17. Where do you see evidence of God's faithfulness in your past, and how can that remind you to trust Him now?
18. What does "done is better than perfect" mean for you in a practical sense? Where do you need to just take the next step?
19. What voices (mentally or externally) reinforce your perfectionism? What do you need to do to silence or replace them?
20. If you could rewrite the script of your life—without fear, striving, or perfectionism—what would it look like?
